About the Event

Join the Ohio Organics Council for its first ever Virtual Town Hall, where composters and organics haulers from across Ohio will share their stories.

This event will highlight obstacles experienced by the Ohio Compost Industry and the opportunities that exist to help the industry grow.

Through the voices of individuals we will hear about the many benefits of compost for Ohio’s agriculture and economy and what stakeholders hope to see in the industry to help grow their business.

Who should attend:
This event is organized with the purpose of understanding the current state of challenges and opportunities of Ohio’s Composting Industry. It will be especially informative to:

  • Horticulturists, Greenhouse Growers and Plant Nurseries

  • Farmers and Farm Composters

  • Ohio EPA's registered and exempt composting facilities

The Ohio Organics Council

The Ohio Organics Council (OHOC) is the official Ohio State Chapter of the US Composting Council, advocating for organics recycling. Our mission is to increase the amount of organics recycled in Ohio by influencing legislation, training professionals, and facilitating dialogue among stakeholders. We offer membership opportunities for individuals interested in advancing organics recycling and provide financial support to gain influence.
